Live Recording Transcription is a modern way to quickly and accurately transcribe audio and video into text using advanced AI models from providers like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram. RiverScript uses its own technologies to combine the best transcription models on the market — synchronized models such as the Standard Sync Model (OpenAI Whisper v3 + Deepgram Nova-2) and the Premium Sync Model (ElevenLabs Scribe v2 + Deepgram Nova-3). We also use our own algorithms for processing and filtering audio and text, which improve the final quality of the transcripts.

Previously, users had to build a technically complex process involving multiple programs and steps: downloading and uploading audio or video as files, then converting the sound into text. If the transcript then needed to be split into speaker turns, have timestamps added, or be turned into subtitles for podcasts — it took up too much time and effort.

If needed, you can also translate the transcript, create subtitles, or get an AI summary. • The technical ability to perform Live Recording Transcription is only available in the RiverScript desktop application. In addition, it also allows you to transcribe Large Audio & Video Files up to 50 gigabytes, and audio and video processing is several times faster. Therefore the process of converting 4K video to text or a large MP3 or WAV file does not depend on browser limitations or internet speed. The user can record and quickly transcribe, for example, a podcast up to 4 hours long or any multi-hour meeting and call. Even if the file is tens of gigabytes in size, the RiverScript desktop version will quickly handle it. The user does not need to waste time on splitting or compressing the file.

• If, in addition to the above, you need to record and transcribe lectures for studying, transcribe sales calls for work, or use it as an assistive tool for people with hearing loss, we also recommend downloading the RiverScript Desktop Client. In addition, all audio files you have processed in the RiverScript Desktop Client are stored on your computer until you delete them yourself, whereas in the web application all audio files are automatically deleted after 7 days.
