How does it do this? We don’t send your actual large files to the AI model. Instead, the app processes them directly on your computer. For example, it extracts the audio track from a video, compresses it into a convenient, lightweight format, and sends that instead.
As a result, a 50-gigabyte video will be compressed into just 12–14 megabytes of lightweight audio and transcribed within a couple of minutes.

Please note that if you use the web version of the app in a browser rather than the desktop client, your browser may sometimes prevent you from uploading a file in an uncommon format because it does not recognize it as a media file. The solution is simple – just transcribe it directly in the desktop app.
