RiverScript Desktop client 1.3 is live!

RiverScript 1.3 – one-click batch downloads for all your transcripts in any supported format and improved file upload reliability.

RiverScript Desktop client 1.3 is now live, alongside a number of updates to the web app.

You can now download all your RiverScript transcripts in a single batch, with one click. To download a batch, click the floppy disk icon above the transcript list, choose a format, and download an archive of your transcripts. This makes bulk audio and video transcription workflows more convenient: if you work with large numbers of transcripts, you no longer need to download each one individually. As usual, transcripts without timestamps are available in PDF, DOCX, and TXT formats, while transcripts with timestamps (subtitles) are available in SRT and VTT formats. For example, if you have 120 transcripts – 100 without timestamps and 20 with timestamps – choosing one of the first three formats lets you download all 100 transcripts in a single archive. Choosing either subtitle format lets you download all 20 timestamped transcripts at once.

We've also improved the process of uploading media to RiverScript's servers. Uploads are now more reliable, including on mobile devices.

Alongside the latest desktop app release, we've introduced MCP v2, which lets you connect your RiverScript workflows with your workflows in other AI systems. The RiverScript integration with Claude is already available, with several other integrations planned for the near future.

You can download the latest Desktop client from the downloads page. If you already have the app installed, it will offer an automatic update in the bottom-right corner when you launch it.
